An evening of prayer, reflection, and a call to action. Can you give 1% of your day to God in prayer? Take the 1% Challenge! 1% of your day is 14 minutes and 24 seconds. Peter Andrastek of the Evangelical Catholic will show you how to make prayer more integral to your life. Admission is free and child care will be provided for children ages 2-11.

Find out more »Tenebrae at St. John the Baptist (Dry Ridge)
Tenebrae ("shadows") is an ancient service celebrated for Holy Week celebrated in a church lit only by candles held in a special, 15-candle holder called a hearse. As the service continues, the candles are extinguished one by one, until the church is dark and the choir and priests make a loud noise ("strepidus") meant to recall the earthquake that took place at Christ's death.
