A Mass of Christian Burial for William Schumacher, former director of the archdiocesan Catholic Social Action Office., on April 27 at St. Gabriel Church in Glendale. Schumacher, 87, died April 20.

Schumacher is survived by his sons, Martin and Eric, and sister, Jane Harris.
