A ceremony before the start of the liturgy recounted the school’s founding. Each of the founders, along with teachers, parents and two students representing each grade level brought bricks forward to the altar to symbolize the foundation of faith on which the school was created.
During his homily, Archbishop Pilarczyk spoke of the important sacrifices that had been made to establish the academy. He also expressed his thanks for the hard work that has been put into the continued success of the school.
