Solemn, joyous celebrations mark Holy Week and Easter
April 27, 2011
ARCHDIOCESE — Area Catholics marked Holy Week and Easter 2011 by participating in the ceremonies and rituals that recall the final days in the earthly life of Jesus.
It was a week of remembrance and hope as they welcomed new members into the community of faith and renewed their baptismal promises in joyful anticipation of the Lord’s resurrection.
