Sister Teresa Chang
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Charity of Cincinnati Teresa Chang was celebrated Feb. 3 in the congregation’s motherhouse chapel.
Sister Teresa, 96, died Jan. 30 at Mother Margaret Hall. She was a Sister of Charity for 71 years.
Sister Teresa was a convert to Catholicism, who came to know the Sisters of Charity while in training for the nursing profession at St. Joseph Hospital in Wuchang, China. When Sister Teresa came the United States, she attended the School of Nursing at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. She served as a licensed practical nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton and at Mother Margaret Hall, the congregation’s nursing facility.
Interment was in the Sisters of Charity cemetery.
