Sister Rose Margaret Langdon

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of the Precious Blood Rose Margaret Langdon was celebrated Oct. 25 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Wheat Ridge, Colo. She died at Christopher House in Wheat Ridge Oct. 19. A memorial service followed by Mass was held at Salem Heights Oct. 26.
A South Dakota native, Sister Rose entered the Sisters of the Precious Blood in 1937 and was a member of the community for 73 years. She began her ministry in domestic work and then spent 34 years as an elementary teacher in Miamisburg, Celina, Maria Stein, Bellefontaine and Coldwater. She also taught in Cleveland, Ottawa, Indiana, Missouri and Colorado. In addition, Sister Rose served in resident services and as a receptionist at Francis Heights and Clare Gardens in Denver. She retired to Francis Heights in 2002.
Sister Rose is survived by her brother, George. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge.
