A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of St. Joseph Patricia Ruth Sheatzley was celebrated Dec. 21 at Guardian Angels Church in Cincinnati. Sister Patricia Ruth, 78, died Dec. 17.

Sister Patricia Ruth’s many ministries included serving as a teacher at Immaculate Heart of Mary and Guardian Angels schools and as a teacher and counselor at McNicholas High School. She was also a Cincinnati general councilor for the Sisters of St. Joseph. Most recently, she spent 15 years as a pastoral associate in Clinton, La. She retired in 2010.

Sister Patricia Ruth is survived by her sister, Sister of St. Joseph Julia Sheatzley, and brother, Joseph. Interment was in Guardian Angels Cemetery.
