A Mass of Christian Burial for Dominican Sister of Hope Mary Rose Wittekind was celebrated Sept. 20 at All Saints Parish in Cincinnati. Sister Mary Rose, 79, died Sept. 9 in New York City.

Sister Mary Rose served in the ministries of nursing and physical therapy in Colorado, Michigan, Ohio and New York.

Sister Mary Rose is survived by her sisters, Margretta Huster, Adele Wilhelm and Charlotte Schoenberger.
