A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Mercy of the Holy Cross Mary Albert Wehri was celebrated Jan. 19 at Holy Cross Chapel in Merrill, Wis. Sister Mary Albert, 93, died Jan. 16 at Bell Tower Residence in Merrill.

Sister Mary Albert entered Holy Cross Convent in 1942 and celebrated her first profession in 1945. In the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Sister Mary Albert taught at the former St. John the Evangelist School in Deer Park from 1953-54, 1962-63 and 1966-69.

Sister Mary Albert is survived by her two sisters, Sister of Mercy of the Holy Cross Adele Wehri and Alda Goldade, and her brother, Leonard. Interment was in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Merrill.
