Sister of Notre Dame de Namur Dolores Mueninghoff died June 26 at Mount Notre Dame Health Center, Reading, at the age of 94. A native of Cincinnati, she was a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur for 70 years.

Sister Dolores spent more than 50 years in the field of education — 27 as a first grade teacher. Most of her five decades as a classroom teacher were spent in at Holy Angels School, St. Xavier School and Summit Country Day in Cincinnati; St. Veronica in Hamilton, St. Michael School in Sharonville, Holy Angels School in Dayton; Notre Dame Country Day School and St. Helen School in Dayton. She also taught in Columbus, Chicago and Arizona.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 1 at the Mount Notre Dame convent chapel in Cincinnati.  Interment followed in the community’s cemetery.

Sister Dolores is survived by a sister, Rita McLaughlin.
