DAYTON DEANERY — The second edition of Mary’s Flowers: Gardens, Legends and Meditations, by Vincenzina Krymow, with illustrations by Marianist Brother A. Joseph Barrish, and meditations by Sister M. Jean Frisk, has just been released by Tau Publishing.
The book is featured on the publisher’s web site, http://www.tau-publishing.com/.
First published in 1999 in hard cover, Mary’s Flowers was subsequently published in soft-cover.
As word spread about flowers and legends associated with Mary and the gardens that honor Mary, countless Mary Gardens sprang up. They were planted in private backyards, on windowsills and at Catholic churches and schools.
