For the sixth consecutive year, The Summit Country Day School has been named the top Catholic high school in the state of Ohio, as ranked by niche.com.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the school’s unwavering commitment to excellence in education, its dedication to fostering a nurturing environment and its continuous pursuit of academic and personal growth for its students. With a learning program beginning at age 18 months, The Summit serves children up to grade 12 in a coeducational, independent, Catholic environment.

Located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Cincinnati, Summit’s extraordinary history began in 1890 when the school was founded by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. Since its inception, The Summit has remained steadfast in its mission to provide an education that nurtures academic achievement while emphasizing the development of character, values and a strong sense of community. A Summit student is guided by an outstanding faculty to develop across five pillars: spiritual, academic, physical, social and artistic.

Summit currently holds an “A+” grade from Niche for overall quality of the education and experience provided. Niche uses a data-based approach to ranking schools and colleges nationwide. According to the website, “ranking is based on rigorous analysis of academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, college data and ratings collected from millions of Niche users.”

Admission events for the 2024-25 school year are happening now at The Summit. Go online to learn more: summitcds.org/admission.
