Out and About in the Archdiocese of March 2025
1) Seton Honors Sisters of Charity
The Sisters of Charity were honored guests at Seton High School in Cincinnati on Jan. 15, 2025, as the school celebrated the Feast of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. The day began with Mass, followed by lunch. This cherished tradition highlighted the enduring bond and shared legacy between the Sisters of Charity and the Seton High School community.
2) Kindness at Catholic Central
At Catholic Central School in Springfield, Mrs. Baker is leading Friendzy SEL curriculum. Students learn the value of supporting one another, practicing kindness and working together. Guided by scriptures, these lessons help students build social-emotional skills that strengthen school community.
3) Basketball Champions
The St. Cecelia School in Cincinnati’s fifth/sixth grade girls’ basketball team secured the win in a hard-fought championship game that came down to the buzzer. The school’s seventh/eighth grade girls team finished as runners up in their tournament.
4) Summit Supports “A Child’s Hope”
Summit Country Day’s Upper School juniors packed 6,480 high-protein meals for A Child’s Hope International, making a meaningful impact for those in need. This was a reflection of their commitment to community
