This year, with COVID-19, the parishes delivered the lilies with extra precautions. Each flower drop-off was approved in advance, and volunteers rang doorbells and left flowers on porches. 3) MESSAGES OF HOPE Parishioners have started leaving sidewalk chalk messages for Father Steven Shoup and for those who visit St. Michael Church in Fort Loramie, which is open during the day for private prayer. 4) OFFERING ENCOURAGEMENT Our Lord Christ the King Parish in Cincinnati partnered with StreamSpot to broadcast Mass. For each day of Easter’s Holy Week, clergy recorded a personal message, too. Father Ed Smith, Father Frank Voellmecke and Deacon Don Gloeckler recorded brief video messages offering encouragement during this time of social-distancing. 5) ROGATION DAY & BLESSING Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Anderson Township held a Rogation Day procession and blessing of the IHM grounds on April 25.
