Deacon Robert “Bob” Collins, M.D., a Deacon of the Archdiocese, died on April 22, 2023 at the age of 90. Deacon Bob was ordained by Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati on April 24, 2004. He was assigned to St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Kettering, upon his ordination. He served the Archdiocese as a permanent deacon for nineteen years.

Deacon Bob’s wife, Joan, to whom he was married for sixty-five years, passed away in February of this year. Bob leaves his son and two daughters, their spouses, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial was held May 1, 2023 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Kettering.
