A number of Franciscan friars will be on hand for the school’s first-ever Day of Giving, and will bless pets in the tradition of Franciscan “blessings of animals” on or near the Feast of St. Francis. Tour the campus while there — people with animals may have the animals blessed without leaving their cars. Blessings will begin at 7:15 a.m. and end at 9:45 a.m. (calendar settings do not allow those times to be listed). Gifts to the school gratefully accepted.
