The annual IHM Dayton Homeschool Conference will return to St. Peter Church with a slate of speakers including popular author, radio host, and speaker Gary Zimak (“A Worrier’s Guide to the Bible”) and Ken Davidson (speaker and co-founder of The Envoy Institute). All talks and presentations are free and open to the public; you do not need to be a homeschooling family to attend. In addition to workshops and presentation, the conference will include vendors and a used book sale. Child care is not available. The organizers describe the event as “like a professional development day for teachers). IHM Homeschool Conferences are held in 21 locations around the country and, unlike general homeschooling events, have a specifically Catholic focus.

Additional speakers include Amy Kalscheur, treasurer of Holy Family Home Educators, and her husband, Certified Financial Planner Michael Kalscheur.
