Documentary on Migrant, Q&A Panel at CET studios
January 10, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
The Columbus Crossing Borders film “Breathe Free” shares the stories of refugees, and art exhibit inspired by those stories: “Through the lens of filmmaker Doug Swift we are introduced to those who fled war, violence and persecution. We witness the unease and fear surrounding U.S. border issues. And we learn how this leads to 34 artists producing a project based on forced migration.”
The evening begins with refreshments at 5:30, the film starts at 6, and a Q&A panel follows. Tickets are free but reservations are required; use link to reserve a spot.
The travelling art exhibit, Columbus Crossing Borders, will be on display at the Xavier University Art Gallery Jan. 1, co-sponsored by XU, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Social Action Office, the Ursuline Sisters, and other Catholic and interfaith groups. See calendar for details.
