A Mass of Christian Burial for David Rinderle, founder and chairman of Sacred Heart Radio, was celebrated April 30 at Immaculate Heart of Mary  (IHM) Parish in Anderson Township. Rinderle, 65, died April 23 during a business trip to Florida.

A resident of Pierce Township, Rinderle was born and raised in Amelia. He converted to Catholicism after meeting his wife, Candace. He was a founder of a neighborhood conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at IHM. He was the leader of a group whose goal was to bring Catholic radio to Cincinnati. On Dec. 31, 200, Sacred Heart Radio (WNOP-AM, Newport) went on the air.

In addition to his wife, Rinderle is survived by his daughter, Victoria Frericks, and sons Mike, Adam and Jason.
