The Office of Priests’ Personnel has announced that Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk has made the following priests’ appointments:

Father Terrance Smith, pastor of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in West Chester, is appointed parochial vicar of Good Shepherd Parish effective July, 2009.

Father Alexander Okoro is appointed chaplain at Veteran’s Hospital effective April 12.

Father Donald Siciliano, pastor of St. Angela Merici Parish in Fayetteville, is appointed pastor of St. Bernard Parish, Taylor’s Creek, effective July 2009.

Father John Krumm, pastor of St. Mary/Holy Family, Dayton, is appointed pastor of St. Brigid Parish in Xenia.

Father Pat Sloneker, pastor of Immaculate Conception in Botkins and St. Lawrence Parish in Rhine is also appointed pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Wapakoneta effective July 2009.

Father Ken Schartz, pastor of St. Brigid Parish in Xenia, is appointed pastor of St. Mary Parish in Hyde Park, effective July 2009.

Father Geoff Drew, pastor of St. Rita Parish in Dayton, is appointed pastor of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Liberty Township, effective July 2009.

Father Robert Farrell, pastor of St. Bartholomew Parish in Cincinnati, has been appointed pastor of St. Susanna Parish in Mason, effective July 2009.

Deacon appointment

Deacon George L. Schmidl has been assigned to St. Ann Parish in Hamilton effective March 30, 2009.
