Bishop Joseph Binzer recited the alphabet in reverse for students from the northern sections of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Wednesday during a homily at a special Catholic Schools Week Mass.

Bishop Binzer and priests from the Dayton area concelebrated the Mass at St. Peter’s Church in Huber Heights.

Archdiocesan Schools Superintendent Dr. Jim Rigg welcomed the students, teachers and parents who attended the Mass.

The St. Peter school band accompanied the choir.

Binzer’s homily focused on the friendships and knowledge available from a Catholic education, all centered on the real presence of Jesus Christ in the day-to-day activities of the school.
