Press Release

Three Badin High School seniors … Lindsey Doerger, Dominic Grime and Claire Smith … have had their artwork selected for the High School Juried Exhibition at Xavier University. The exhibit opens with a reception at Xavier’s Cohen Center on Nov. 4 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

“It is very difficult to get artwork into this particular exhibition, so this trio of students should be very proud,” Badin art teacher Sarah Daniels said. “It is a nice honor – there will be some outstanding pieces on display there in November.”

Doerger’s art, oil on canvas, is entitled, “Fresh Breath.” She is the daughter of Steve and Mary Doerger of Fairfield and a graduate of Sacred Heart School.

Grime’s art, pastel on black paper, is entitled, “Sunsets and Daydreams.” He is the son of Todd and Michele Grime of Hamilton and a graduate of Frontier Middle School in suburban Buffalo, N.Y.

Smith’s art, a digital illustration, is entitled “Suspension of Color.” She is the daughter of Ryan and Nicole Smith of Hamilton and a graduate of Sacred Heart School.
