Mass in Celebration of the World Day of Peace will be celebrated on the Solemnity of Mary the Holy Mother of God, Jan. 1, at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains with Archbishop Dennis Schnurr presiding. A reception follows featuring the Burundian choir and dancers of St. Leo the Great Church. Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Binzer will preside at 7 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Dayton.
