Cincinnati, OH – The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage made its way into downtown Cincinnati on Saturday. Three-thousand Catholics gathered for morning Mass with Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr and then a solemn Eucharistic Procession from St. Peter in Chains Cathedral Basilica to Fountain Square in Cincinnati.

The procession was part of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage going through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, locally known as Jesus is Here.

July 5 coverage of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati

Around 450 people processed with the Blessed Sacrament through downtown Madeira on Friday morning. The procession from St. Gertrude Church to McDonald Commons Park in Madeira concluded with benediction.  Following the solemn morning procession around 100 pilgrims continued 4 more miles – mostly in the rain – to the Oratory of St. John Vianney in Madisonville for midday Mass.

After a Holy Hour and then a community meal at St. Cecilia Church, near dusk Friday evening, hundreds of pilgrims participated in a solemn Eucharistic Procession from St. Cecilia Church, Oakley to St. Mary Church, Hyde Park.

July 3 coverage of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

After morning Mass at St. Francis de Sales Church, Lebanon, more than 175 pilgrims joined the solemn Eucharistic Procession into downtown Lebanon, ending with benediction at Bicentennial Park. Following the morning procession about 100 pilgrims continued another 6 miles along the Lebanon Countryside YMCA Trail.

July 2 coverage of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

On July 2, hundreds of pilgrims processed after morning Mass from St. Brigid Church, Xenia to Xenia Station. Following benediction dozens of pilgrims continued nearly 7 more miles with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament to Walton Park in Spring Valley, Ohio.

July 1 coverage of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Pilgrims walk more than 10 miles along the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Route from Cedarville to Xenia, Ohio, on July 1.

Around 1,000 pilgrims joined the Eucharistic Procession to St. Brigid Church, Xenia, OH, the evening of July 1. The parish celebrated their 175th anniversary as part of the Eucharistic Pilgrimage visit.
