Sister Grace Graber
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Charity of Cincinnati Grace Graber was celebrated June 1 in the congregation’s motherhouse chapel. Sister Grace, 89, died May 28 at Mother Margaret Hall. She was a Sister of Charity of Cincinnati for 68 years.
A native of Pomeroy, Ohio, Sister Grace spent more than 40 years ministering in elementary education and teaching piano lessons. In the archdiocese, she taught at St. Mary in Greenville; the former St. Patrick in Cincinnati; the former Sacred Heart in Dayton; the former St. Bernard in Springfield; and St. Charles Borromeo in Kettering. Sister Grace also served as parish organist at St. Aloysius on the Ohio, and as a music instructor at St. Vincent de Paul in Cincinnati.
Sister Grace is survived by her sisters, Mary Catherine Foster and Teresa Marie Finke. Interment was in the Sisters of Charity Cemetery.
