The inspiration for this series comes from the fact that the desert has been central to the faith journey – appearing in the Old Testament, and in Jesus’ time in the desert in the New Testament, with the formation of many monastic communities. Desert Days provides an opportunity for youth camps, ministers to worship, to be formed, to be purified, and to grow as community.
