Roger Bacon High School students concluded their 24th annual Assist-A-Family program benefitting Mother of Christ Church in Winton Terrace and the St. George Food Pantry in Corryville in mid-December. The students, faculty, staff and alumni purchased toys, games and clothing for these two agencies. They also presented $1,600 worth of Kroger gift cards and divided them between the two agencies. What is slightly different at St. Gabriel Consolidated School in Glendale is that there are six sets of twins currently enrolled, with two sets from the same family. “We rarely see this number of twins at one time in our school of 431 and view their being here as a blessing as they walk two by two, sharing each day together,” said Joseph Epplen, principal.
