Each morning at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral there is a 7:00 a.m. Mass. On this day, several hundred were in attendance as the relics of St. Padre Pio arrived. From 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., thousands of the faithful gathered to venerate the relics. Throughout the day, there were lines outside the front door of St. Peter in Chains Cathedral. Hundreds went to confession and many stayed and prayed on this historic day. The day concluded with a Mass, with Archbishop Dennis Schnurr the celebrant.
