More than anything, first of all, I want to thank my God for being here with my family and all of you.  If anyone asks me how a spent those long months apart from my family, I would say “in prayer”.  When I arrived at my family’s in Mexico, naturally I was sad and disheartened.  But God put me in good hands, the Intercessors of the Precious Blood.  I trusted in God’s promise that if we are concerned about his things, he will be concerned for ours.

The fact is that I traveled to Detroit two weeks ago without baggage.  I only had a bag full of the prayer books that sustained me during those months.

During constant prayer during the night, in fasting, in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, we prayed for our families.  In prayer I could see the Virgin Mary and Jesus entering my family’s house so far away.  With this I had a security that even if I were far away, my family was under the protection of the Holy Family.  Through all that has happened to us, I have learned much about my God.

I asked for the grace to make the right decision to accept God’s will.  I asked that he open the doors so that I could be with my family.  But as an obedient daughter, I accepted his will, his plan for my family. It was the Holy Spirit who filled my heart to be able to accept his will.

Now I believe that the Lord is strengthening my family to heal and restore us.  The Lord performed this miracle for us so that the whole world knows that God is alive and that even today he continues performing miracles.  Our mission is to give good example.  It will not be easy but with God’s help we can move forward.

I especially want to thank the members of the three parishes of the Hamilton Pastoral Region and all the believers who prayed for my family and me.  I don’t have adequate words to thank my lawyers Katie Kersh and Emily Brown and CLINIC an organization that helped them.  I am greatly thankful to Archbishop Dennis Schnurr and support groups like the Amos Project.

Thanks be to God I am with my family, for how long only God knows.  Returning home, to say that I am happy is not sufficient.  I am thankful to the Virgin Mary and all the angels both in heaven and on earth. Scroll down for this witness en espanol.

Más que nada, en primer lugar, quiero dar gracias a mi Dios por estar aquí con mi familia y con todos ustedes.  Si alguien me pregunta como pasaba esos largos meses separada de mi familia, diría en oración. Cuando llegue a donde mi familia en México, naturalmente estaba triste y desanimada.  Pero Dios me puso en buenas manos, Intercesores de la Preciosa Sangre.  Confiaba en la promesa de Dios que si nos preocupamos de sus cosas, el se preocupa de las nuestras.

La verdad es que hace dos semanas viajé a Detroit sin ninguna maleta, solo con una bolsa llena de los libros de oración que me sostenían durante esos meses.

Durante oración constante en la madrugada, en ayunos, en adoración delante del Santísimo, pedimos por nuestras familias.  Y en la oración podía ver a la Virgen María y Jesús entrar en la casa de mi familia tan lejos.  Con esto tenía una seguridad de que aunque yo estaba lejos, mi familia estaba bajo la protección de la Sagrada Familia.  Por todo lo que nos ha pasado, he aprendido mucho de mi Dios.

Pedia la gracia de tomar una decisión correcta, de poder aceptar su voluntad.  Pedía que Él abriera todas las puertas para que yo pudiera estar con mi familia.  Pero como hija obediente le decía que yo aceptaba su voluntad, su plan para mi familia. Es el Espíritu Santo que me llenó el corazón para poder aceptar su voluntad.

Ahora, creo que el Señor nos fortalece como familia para sanarnos y restaurarnos.  El Señor me hizo este milagro para que todo el mundo sepa que Dios está vivo y que hasta hoy en día hace milagros.  La misión nuestra es dar buen ejemplo.  No será fácil pero con la ayuda de Dios podemos salir adelante.

En particular quiero agradecer a los miembros de las tres parroquias de la Región Pastoral de Hamilton y todos los creyentes que pedían por mí y mi familia.  No tengo palabras adecuadas para agradecer a mis abogadas Katie Kersh y Emily Brown y a CLINIC una organización que les ayudo.  Estoy sumamente agradecida al Arzobispo Dennis Schnurr y a los grupos de apoyo como el Proyecto de Amos.

Gracias a mi Dios estoy con mi familia, por cuanto tiempo solo Dios sabe.  Decir que a regresar a casa estoy feliz no es suficiente. Estoy agradecida a la Virgen y a todos los ángeles en el cielo y en la tierra.
