The Feast of Saints Peter and Paul or Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul is a liturgical feast in honor of the martyrdom in Rome of the apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul, which is observed June 29. It is also the feast where the Pontiff conferrs the Pallium upon the Metropolitan Archbishop in Rome with their relatives, friends and a numerous representation of their diocesan communities.
