ARCHDIOCESE — Twenty-one young people received the gifts of the Holy Spirit when they were confirmed at Our Lady of Lavang Vietnamese Catholic Community on April 4.

Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr presided at the Mass and conferred the sacrament upon the young people, assisted by Fathers Thai Nguyen and Huan Nguyen. It was the archbishop’s first visit to the community, and “we were honored to have him,” said Hailey Pham, youth leader.
 
Those confirmed were prepared to receive the sacrament by Loi Duc Cao.
