A highlight of the area’s oldest and most authentic German Christmas market (see Saturday for details), the Martinmas Children’s Parade is a German tradition. All children are welcome to take part. Meet at the Germania Klubhaus at 6:30 to learn traditional lantern songs. Parade, led by St. Martin, follows at 7 . Lanterns (including candle and stick to carry them with) will be available to purchase or bring your own. Dress warm — children will sing and walk with our lanterns to the bonfire where all children will receive a Sankt Martin’s Weck (pastry).

There is a $3/person fee to attend the market; children 12 and under admitted free.
