Dayton’s largest German festival runs from August 11-13 at Riverscape MetroPark (new location). The 34th annual festival will feature food, music, a Kidz Zone with games and rides, German vendors, a biergarten and weingarten, a 5K and a 10K run, and more. The annual Polka Mass allows attendees to spend the day (or weekend) at the festival and fulfill their Sunday obligation in a specially festive way. Father Bill Myers will celebrate; music provided by the Alpen Echos Polka Band and the Dayton Liederkranz Turner Choir (with assistance from Holy Trinity parish in Dayton).
