Staff Report

Roughly 160 students and their chaperones made the walk from St. Francis Seraph Catholic School in Over-the-Rhine to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati central offices building in downtown Cincinnati for some trick-or-treating in a safe environment on Oct. 30.

The students started on the eighth floor and worked their way down, meeting Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr and other archdiocesan staff along the way.

St. Francis Seraph is a Catholic Inner-city Schools Education Fund (CISE) school that serves students of low-income families. Located in Over-the-Rhine, it is the closest Catholic school to the central offices.

This was the second year of the trick-or-treat event for the students.
