A Mass of Christian Burial for Sister of Charity of Cincinnati Mary Veronica Rastocan was celebrated Jan. 23 at the Sisters of Charity Villa San Bernardo Chapel in Bedford. Sister Mary Veronica, 92, died Jan. 19 at Regina Health Center in Richfield.

A Sister of Charity for 75 years, S. Mary Veronica was a member of the Vincentian Sisters of Charity of Bedford, Ohio, from 1934 until 2004, when the Vincentian Sisters of Charity merged with the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati. Sister Mary Veronica served the dioceses of Cleveland and Youngstown for more than seven decades as a cook and domestic. She also served as cook and domestic for bishops in Cleveland and Lafayette, Ind.

Sister Mary Veronica is survived by her sisters, Pauline Kaparic and Mary Machhavicius. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
