Sister Marie Renee Hoehn
A Mass of Christian Burial for Precious Blood Sister Marie Renee Hoehn was celebrated Aug. 16 at Salem Heights Chapel in Dayton. Sister Marie Renee died at the Maria Joseph Center in Dayton on August 12. She had been a Sister of the Precious Blood for 69 years.
A native of Ottoville, Sister Marie Renee spent 47 years in education, teaching primary grades in Bellefontaine, Centerville, Celina, Wapakoneta, North College Hill and Kettering. She also taught in other parts of Ohio, Arizona, Indiana, Missouri and California. She moved to Salem Heights in 1995 and worked part-time at the Maria Joseph Center. She moved to Maria Joseph in 2012.
Sister Marie Renee is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Bowen, Lorene Lindeman and Eileen Kehres. Interment was in the Salem Heights Cemetery.
