Donate blood to help St. Vincent de Paul serve neighbors in need
Release
St. Vincent de Paul-Cincinnati is asking local residents to donate blood to the Hoxworth Blood Center during the month of February.
Hoxworth has challenged more than 60 non-profits, including St. Vincent de Paul, to recruit donors to donate blood during the month of February. Each donation in St. Vincent de Paul’s name earns the organization points. Courtesy of sponsors Montgomery Inn and Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, the three top charities will win a cash prize. The winner gets $10,000, second place earns $5,000 and third place earns $2,500.
St. Vincent de Paul reports that all winnings by their organization will go to volunteers at our neighborhood conferences who provide assistance such as rent and utilities, food, beds and other basic necessities to struggling families.
