Hundreds of Scouts assembled for the Field Mass
“A Scout is reverent.” Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Binzer celebrated Mass for Catholic Boy Scouts and leaders at the Peterloon Camporee last month. The weekend event at the historic Peterloon Estate has been held since 1927, making it the longest-running camporee in the hstory of Scouting. More than 6,000 Scouts attended and participated in more than 80 activities; the outdoor Mass was one of five religious services.
